咖啡/答题卡赠品
在每个期末周直接支持学生的成功!
Every Finals Week the 分类参议院 hosts the 咖啡/答题卡赠品 at
主校区、奇科中心和格伦中心.
The 咖啡/答题卡赠品 is a tabling event where students can grab free coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, snacks, scantrons, and sharpened #2 pencils! 这张桌子是 run by volunteers from across constituencies and is highly regarded as one of the most rewarding events to participate in, as it's a unique opportunity to interact directly with students and directly support their efforts at Butte College.
Past events have also featured collaboration with other departments such as Student Success 服务, Proud to be First Gen, and the Roadrunner Hub who have provided additional support to our students through the donation of breakfast sandwiches, snacks, 奖品和更多!
If you want to participate in our next 咖啡/答题卡赠品, contact your Area Senator or keep an eye on your inbox, as the call for volunteers goes out a few weeks 在每个期末周之前.

One day every year the Classifed Senate organizes a full day of activites, social
networking, professional development, food, and FUN just for Classified Professionals!
Traditionally happening the week following commencement, Classified Professionals Day is open to all Classified staff at all Butte College campuses. 太阳城娱乐是，首先 & foremost, a professional development activity, so expect to learn something new and useful as both an individual and a Classified Professional...但别指望 太无聊了!!!
Every 分类专业人员日 has a theme and dressing up to the theme is encouraged. The planning committee puts in extra effort to infuse professional development into 创新、刺激、有趣的活动! 最重要的是，既然它是 professional development event, Classified get to attend as part of their normal working 正常工资工作时间!! 所以，你可以逃离办公室，和同事们交往 across all departments, learn new things, eat delicious food, AND get paid to do it!! 有什么理由不去爱呢?!?

保持强烈的记忆
11月8日:一个回忆、反思和重新联系的日子.The 保持强烈的记忆 was formed in the wake of the 2018 Camp Fire. 在孤峰 College 分类参议院 dedicated themselves to remembering and honoring the survivors 以及那些在这场悲剧中失去生命的人.
To this end, they planted the Butte Strong Tree on the Main Campus lawn and hold an annual remembrance for the entire campus community to share in our collective loss 和力量. As our area continues to weather further natural incidents, the Butte Strong Remembrance grows to include those impacted by these events.

Bringing our campus community together in friendship, comfort, & 给!
Friends给 originally started as a campus-wide Fall 家常便饭 and quickly grew

In the Fall of 2019 Butte College was on lockdown due to COVID-19 and an in-person 聚餐是不可行的. 所以，参议院决定不举行聚餐，而是 to gather recipes from students, staff, faculty, managers, and administration to compile 变成一本烹饪书!! The cookbook was made availalble digitally for free, or anyone could 花一小笔钱买一份硬拷贝. 随后是在线直播烹饪 demos, where senators or other contributors would cook up a dish from the cookbook!!
When Butte College returned to on-site work, the demand for the cookbook remained, so Friends给 has evolved into both an annual in-person 家常便饭 AND a campus community driven cookbook, which the 分类参议院 uses as a small fundraiser.

Honoring outstanding recently-retired Classified ProfessionalsEvery year the Butte College 分类参议院 recognizes long-standing, exceptional
service to the Butte College District through the 荣誉分类奖.
Classified Professionals who have served at least 10 years at Butte College and have
retired or have deceased within 2 academic years of the current year can be nominated

A committee reviews the applications and the Butte College 分类参议院 votes
on qualifying nominees to put forth to the 校董会 for final approval.
